The Virtual Research Institute is a web-based forum for teachers to help create and improve instruction and instructional materials (print and software). The research conducted is designed to fit your curriculum and teaching needs. Participation is easy and enjoyable. Coaching is provided and the tools used are web-based, including logs, surveys and discussion groups.
You will be able to interact with colleagues from across the country about things that are of interest to you and, depending on the study group you join, provide insight into:
How instructional materials can be improved to work better for you and your students
The teaching strategies that work best in areas such as English as a second language instruction, differentiated instruction, etc.
How technology can best be integrated into instruction
Your own best practices and creative solutions
